Had an amazing time with friends! We explored beautiful hikes and enjoyed great meals at local pubs. The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was really cozy. Just a heads up, signal is spotty, but it added to the adventure. I highly recommend staying here for a fun getaway.
It wasn't the best experience, but the rest of the stay made up for it.

I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at Woolpack Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made a real difference. The location was perfect for exploring amazing walks and attractions. Dinner was excellent, especially the locally sourced food. the experience was tainted by some issues. On arrival, I found the room dusty with no welcome pack to help navigate the area. The Wi-Fi in the room didn’t work, which was inconvenient. the bar area was noisy late at night, making it hard to relax. Getting served breakfast wasn't smooth on Sunday due to lack of staff. Despite these inconveniences, the overall friendliness of the staff and the beautiful surroundings made the trip enjoyable.

The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and the service was top-notch. The food exceeded expectations, including a delicious homemade soup that showcased high-quality ingredients. the overall decor felt somewhat outdated, and the room didn’t quite match the charming images depicted online. For the price, improvements in room maintenance would certainly enhance the experience.

The cozy decor and modern bathroom with a walk-in shower provided a perfect retreat after a long hike. The staff demonstrated excellent customer service, especially Miles, who was very attentive. Unfortunately, the food service was slow, with long waits for orders and several items unavailable, which left us disappointed. The bill also had errors that required clarification, detracting from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Fantastic staff and cozy atmosphere
I had a lovely stay in the mountains, enjoying the cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The food was delicious, especially the BBQ ribs, and the bar offered a great selection of drinks. The location is perfect for hikers, as it’s close to scenic trails. One area for improvement could be the room's bathroom cleanliness.

Nice blend of cozy sections and a modern bar, giving a unique pub feel. The comfy chairs provide an inviting atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day outdoors.
The rooms seem in dire need of some updates. Carpets don’t fit right, and visible gripper rods can be tripping hazards. Dusty surfaces and cobwebs are unwelcoming, and something as simple as a welcome pack could help new guests. Noise travels easily from the bar area to nearby rooms, which can disrupt a peaceful night’s sleep. Daily housekeeping should be standard, yet fresh towels weren’t provided during my stay.

The stay was wonderful, with a great atmosphere and very comfortable beds. The location was perfect for accessing lovely walks and the staff made us feel right at home. A special mention goes to the delicious locally sourced food we enjoyed during our meals. the room could use some freshening up as the furniture felt a bit shabby, and we noticed some minor issues with the bathroom. it was a pleasant experience.

It was just a balanced option for a transient visit in Boot with reasonable price. Had a lovely coffee and cake after hiking. Bring your own snacks, as food can take a while to arrive.
